My name is Zienna Brissett, I am 23 years old and an aspiring concept artist. I took part in this competition because I felt it was a proper way of acknowlegding Black History Month and the way people of color have impacted the world. I chose Katherine Johnson because she was a strong woman who faced both racial and gender discrimination, yet still managed to accomplish the incredible task of getting the first man into orbits. I wish to be as strong as she was.
