After Supper Visions is an opportunity for the hungry and homeless of Chicago, served by Catholic Charities in so many ways, to participate in the artistic process. It is where hearts meet hearts on a level of pure joy, a level where the only difference is one’s preference of color, light, or composition. Since 2003, volunteers, including professional photographers, have been inviting dinner guests to participate in the photography project that culminates in a highly anticipated exhibit in June. Artist are given cameras, attend photography classes, and participate in photo shoots. The artist has several months in which to experiment, explore and pursue their individual visions and creativity.
