Ka-EL Zakiah
Attended Bradley University in Peoria Il, studying International Studies and Philosophy. Transferred to The School of the Art Institute of Chicago where he completed a B.F.A. in Fine Arts, 1991. Ka-EL continued studies at SAIC completing the M.F.A., 1994, studying Drawing and Painting . Completed the M Ed. Art Education, 2013, at the University of Illinois at Champaign, IL. He has worked with youth artist through the Hyde Park Art Center’s Partner in Arts and Visual Learners programs, Gallery 37 through the Boulevard Art Center and with the Chicago Park District.
